Vision & Mission of CWAP
One day, Nepal will be a country where all people, women and men alike, recognize the value of women and the importance of promoting their participation in Nepali public life, and in which Nepali women enjoy social, political, and economic rights and opportunities equal to those of men.

The mission of CWAP is to promote the full inclusion and effective participation of women in all Nepali political and governmental institutions and processes, at all levels, and on behalf of the needs and concerns of all Nepali women.

It seems political parties and civil societies have also been responsible in facilitating women's participation and bringing them to the front. There is a need for a movement of women to push for greater and more substantial involvement in all decisions making processes. CWAP is presenting the list of aspiring Madheshi Women leadership from different political parties and social organization to support the women leaders of the political parties looking for Madheshi Women Candidates for their political participation and inclusion of Madheshi Women in the Constituent Assembly Election. Madhesi Women National Conference
The Madheshi Women's National Conference was held in Chitwan from 14-19 August 2007.  There were over one hundred women in attendance representing all the 21 Terai Districts. . Discussions and sessions were held during the conference on topics such as:
  • obstacles to political inclusion and participation,
  • the electoral method of the CA election,
  • women, conflict, and state restructuring,
  • international perspectives on women, peace, and politics
