It
seems political parties and civil societies
have also been responsible in facilitating
women's participation and bringing them
to the front. There is a need for a movement
of women to push for greater and more substantial
involvement in all decisions making processes.
CWAP is presenting the list of aspiring
Madheshi Women leadership from different
political parties and social organization
to support the women leaders of the political
parties looking for Madheshi Women Candidates
for their political participation and inclusion
of Madheshi Women in the Constituent Assembly
Election.
CWAP initiated the research
survey through 7 surveyors in each 7 eastern
terrain districts for identification of
capable and aspiring Madheshi Women Candidates
for CA election involving the intellectual,
reputed, political conscious and common
citizens by conducting the purposive random
sampling in urban and semi-urban areas in
districts: Parsa, Bara, Rautahat, Sarlahi,
Siraha, Saptari and Sunsari.
Hence, CWAP could able
to get the name collection of 100 Madheshi
Women Leaders separately from each 7 Eastern
Terrain district and could able to have
altogether name list of 700 Madheshi Women
leaders for CA election.
Eventually in the same
way 10 maximum weight age Madheshi Women
Leaders were selected according to the frequency
level separately from the collection of
Madheshi Women Leaders of each 7 districts.
Consequently, 70 aspiring Madheshi Women
Candidates were enlisted for CA election.
